David Garza is the Founder and CEO of COMPASS Human Capital Advisors. A West Point graduate, combat veteran, corporate executive, and author, David has spent his career helping owners unlock value and resilience by developing strong human capital foundations.

David’s journey has included HR leadership roles for Temple-Inland, Merck, The Regus Group, and Mission Foods. He has authored “Disrupting HR: An Introduction to a New HR Doctrine.” Known for a mix of operational savvy, leadership insight, and a commitment to service in even the toughest conditions, David now brings practical wisdom and strategic support to ambitious business owners at every stage.
